Functional Design and Contemporary Style

In this project, we undertook the complete renovation of a 53m² flat with the aim of adapting it to the client’s specific needs. The proposal had to include a dressing room, an office for the development of his professional activity and an open-concept kitchen integrated into the living room.

Concept and design proposal

Our intervention was based on a masculine design inspired by the man’s cave concept, where functionality and aesthetics converge to balance the user’s personal and professional life. To do so, it was necessary to completely demolish the original layout and reorganize the spaces efficiently.

Optimization and distribution of spaces

The result is an optimized environment that incorporates a bedroom with a dressing room and en-suite bathroom, as well as an office designed for remote work. The open, modern-style kitchen blends harmoniously with the living room, featuring a round table that allows for flexibility in its use.

Reconfiguration for greater functionality

A bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom was created, giving the unit a higher category and appeal for the rental market. In addition, it was decided to integrate the dining room with the kitchen, keeping the living room separate from the bedrooms without losing the visual and functional connection with the common spaces.
